Your privacy

We collect only what we need to pray with you, welcome you into our community and receive your gifts. Your information is never sold or published, only the people who serve in each area can see it, and we delete it on a fixed schedule.

Prayer requests

What we collect

  • Your name and phone number, only if you choose to give them

12 months after closing

Then it's deleted. A request with no update for 90 days is closed automatically.

Community applications

What we collect
  • Your name, WhatsApp number, country and town
  • Why you'd like to join, if you tell us
  • That you confirmed you're 18 or older — the community is for adults only
Why
So a community admin can review your request and send your WhatsApp invite.

How long we keep it

24 months after a decision

Whether you were invited or not.

Gifts (M-Pesa)

What we collect
  • The amount and purpose of your gift
  • The M-Pesa number the prompt was sent to (shown masked to staff)
  • The M-Pesa receipt number and payment status
Why
So we can confirm your gift with Safaricom and keep accurate financial records.

7 years

Required for financial records; gifts can't be deleted sooner.

Fellowship link clicks

What we collect
  • Which meeting link was tapped, the platform and the page — nothing about you
Why
So we know whether the website helps people join the online fellowship.

  • Your email address and sign-in method
  • Your role and the changes you make (an activity log)
Why
So only the right people can see each area, and every change can be traced.

While you serve

Removed when your role is revoked; the activity log stays with the records it describes.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We'll respond within 30 days.

After you send a prayer request or a community application, you get a reference code (like PR-7K3Q or CA-4M8T). Include it — or the phone number you gave — so we can find the right record. The code is only for these requests; nobody can use it to look your request up.

If you sent a request anonymously and don't have the code, we can't tell which one is yours. It will still be deleted on the schedule above.

Our WhatsApp community is for adults (18+). Gifts can't be deleted before their 7-year record period ends.
